External Impact: GCI calling to UAS Phones 6/4/26
Users are reporting that when calling UAS phone numbers, they receive the message “the call cannot be completed as dialed.”
Technicians determined that the issue appear to be outbound calls serviced through GCI, and affecting their system external to UAS.
RESOLVED: As of Friday 6/5, all calls appear to be proceeding correctly.
Banner Admin and UAOnline Employee Self-Service Outage
We and UA Statewide IT have received reports that forms in Banner admin are not loading, and UAOnline's Employee login is experiencing authentication issues. The OIT EAS team is currently reaching out to the vendor, and they will be making updates at 30-minute intervals.

Services Impacted: UA Login Services 5/16-17
Over the weekend, users experienced issues logging into various services, including VDI, VPN, and Wifi.
Statewide OIT Support determined that central authentication services to the UA domain were failing. As of 8 AM on Monday, technicians believe this has been fixed, but a permanent solution is under investigation.
RESOLVED: System Impacted: UA SSO login 2/23/26
Users are reporting errors when trying to log into various resources that authenticate through the Statewide IDP service. They receive a NO CONNECTION error. This includes, but is not limited to:
- UA Online
- Blackboard
- UAS VPN
If encountering this error, please re-attempt several times. The error is not consistent, but does not happen every time. This is the only currently confirmed workaround.

As of 5:00 PM, this issue appears to be resolved.
The issue is ongoing. OIT is still actively investigating.
As of Friday the 27th, OIT believes this issue resolved completely.
Service Impacted: Google apps on Samsung devices 2/16/26
Multiple users have reported they are unable to access Google resources such as Drive, Chat, and Youtube. This issue is specific to Samsung devices such as smartphones and tables.
Technicians are actively investigating.
